  1. Stromboli (1950)
  2. Europe '51 (1952) I think I liked this best of the three
  3. Journey to Italy (1954)
  4. Love Is All You Need (2012) dir. by Susanne Bier
  5. Nowhere in Africa (2001) Dir. by Caroline Link
  6. Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children (2016) I was surprised by how much I liked it, though come on Tim. One of those kids could have been Indian at least. Also, less focus on romance. I think Guillermo Del Toro could have done it better. When I read the book and saw the descriptions of the hollows, it just screamed Del Toro to me.
  7. Swiss Army Man (2016) Wow
  8. The King of Marvin Gardens (1972) You know what, I liked it better than Five Easy Pieces
  9. The Pallbearer (1996)
  10. The Dressmaker (2015) Dir. by Jocelyn Moorhouse. OMG.
  11. Daughters of the Dust (1991) Dir. by Julie Dash. So beautiful.
  12. About Scout (2015) Dir. by Laurie Weltz
  13. She's Beautiful When She's Angry (2014) Dir. by Mary Dore
  14. Jane Eyre (2006 miniseries) Dir by Susanna White. I dunno, I'll include mini-series sometimes.
  15. Babette's Feast (1987) OMG. Babette went all the fuck out. Watch with Big Night.
  16. Fall Into Darkness (1996) Actually kind of fun
  17. A Star Is Born (1976) Fredric March, then James Mason, then Kris Kristofferson. OMG. Bradley Cooper still kind of creeps me out, so I dunno.
  18. Lo and Behold, Reveries of the Connected World (2016)
  19. Broadcast News (1987)
