Jan 2015 movies

  1. Johnny Guitar (1954) Joan is great in this

  2. American Hustle (2013) too bad David O Russell is a creep

  3. Enemy (2013) wtf that ending. Canadian/Spanish production

  4. The Grand Budapest Hotel (2014)

  5. The To-Do List (2013) directed by Maggie Carey

  6. Olive Kitteridge (2014) technically mini-series, directed by Lisa Cholodenko

  7. Captain America: Winter Soldier (2014)

  8. The Book Thief (2013)

  9. Transcendence (2014) the worst on the list, but not horrible

  10. The Amazing Spider-Man 2 (2014)

  11. Haunter (2013) wasn't too bad, Canadian production

  12. The Natural (1984) super pretty cinematography, Caleb Deschanel knows how to use sunlight ("sunlight"?)

  13. Picture Day (2012) Canadian production, directed by Kate Melville

  14. The Door in the Floor (2004)

  15. X-Men Days of Future Past (2014), part of the Digital Film Fest, have 8 more movies to go. Haven't seen a movie in a theatre since Desolation of Smaug. I think. Too bad Bryan Singer might be a rapist.

  16. Rollercoaster (1977)

So, not off to the greatest start trying to watch movies directed by women. It's been difficult watching movies period though. I wish the Palace cinemas were still open, I could see more new releases.
