My sister goes trhough some interesting phases. Back when she thought John Mellencamp was her soulmate, she found out that he had open heart surgery (or at least she said she did), and became obsessed with open heart surgery. She bought cow hearts for dinner. They tasted okay, but she is sometimes a bad cook, so they could have tasted better.
