I just haven't felt like doing... anything. Not even watching movies, even though movies are so important to me. I don't know.

  1. Tim's Vermeer (2013) very interesting documentary

  2. Deep Red (1975)* watched it in December, because it was on some list of "different" Christmas movies. And I wanted to see more Dario Argento films. Anyway, there wasn't much Christmas, but I liked it.

  3. Truly, Madly, Deeply (1990)* Loved it. I've always thought Alan Rickman was sexy, but it was odd to see him being so adorable.

  4. Oldboy (2013) I saw the original movie in a theatre, it was so amazing. Of course any remake wouldn't be as good, but Spike Lee is an amazing director, so of course it was still good. I didn't like the extra rape themes though. If you haven't seen a Spike Lee movie, don't make this your first. Do The Right Thing and Crooklyn are really good starters. Inside Man was the first one I ever saw.

  5. Philomena (2013)

  6. A Christmas Carol (1999)

  7. Bedtime Story (1941) yesssssss, Fredric March

Deep Red made me think a little more about horror movies set during Christmas (even though, it wasn't really set during Christmas). They are all uber-dark. Why not make on that is really glittery, and anyone who wears make-up is wearing ice blues and silvers. The movie would be sparkling snow and splattered blood. It's sountrack would be Tchaikovsky on a glass harp. I have no idea what the horror element would be. All I got are pretty+gorey visuals and the music.
