Blonde Venus

My great aunt was named after Marlene Dietrich, she was my great grandfathers favourite actress. I like to imagine him sitting in a theatre in the 30s, watching the gorilla suit scene from Blonde Venus and thinking “I’m going to name my firstborn daughter after her”.
