• They used "The Killing Moon" by Echo and the Bunnymen in Donnie Darkos theatrical cut, but "Never Tear Us Apart" by INXS in the directors one. They are both georgous songs, but I think "TKM" works better. Also, I probably wouldn't have heard any Echo songs for years if it hadn't been for that movie. Whereas, my mom and sister are big INXS fans, so I would have heard "NTUA" at some point.

This creepy ass beautiful tree ring music. Need to be in some fairy tale horror movie where people turn into trees.

This interesting article about Anne (of Green Gables). Anne may have also married Gilbert because she wanted to be a mother. I'm sure a lot of homoromantic asexual people want kids. I prefer Emily of New Moon, but that's a different subject.

Vi Hart blows my mind. This is "old", but I still love watching it.

Wonder if this counts for aromantic people, because I'm starting to think I'm aromantic.

It snowed today.

I now realize that the version of "Pass This On" by The Knife (that I mentioned here) that I love, is a live version. I mean, I knew that all along, but I didn't realize how different the studio version was. It's fun, but not, whoa. You know. Actually, I had heard it already in a movie and didn't even recognize it when I heard the live version.

It was in Magic Magic. That movie. I just don't know.

1. Hole - Dicknail. This live version just blows my mind, and I wasn't even there.


2. Killdozer - King of Sex. They have a good cover of "Cinnamon Girl" as well. There's a video of Neil Young performing it, and it focuses on the women in the audience, singing along.


3. The Who - See Me Feel Me. Apparently, Roger Daltrey hated his voice during this live Woodstock performance. They were dehydrated and tripping on acid. Pete Townsend was all fucked up and kicked a cameraman or something. Anyway, I love his scratchy breaking voice here.

It's so uncomfortable seeing people from the past. I recently ran into the grandmother of an ex-best friend (K). She had raised K, and I thought she was Ks mother for a long time. Anyway, I was freaking out inside, but tried to be polite. She had her great grandchild with her. Not Ks kid, but her sisters. K has a baby.

Ks grandma made me give her my number, I was so happy they never called. I'm not on Facebook for a reason. When relationships die out, they should just stay that way. Especially grade school one. It's unhealthy to be connected with people you played with in kindergarten. At least for me, I have no interest in them.

In grade 7, K and I got matching sweatshirts. We even named them. Dark grey sweaters with a dagger/dragon/skull design. Studs on the hood. We thought they were so cool. The other kids probably made fun of us. I still have mine and it's too big on me. It must have swallowed eleven year old me right up.

I've been considering donating it, along with a jewellry box K gave me for my birthday once. The jewellry box is cute, but I have better ones. The sweater is ugly, but I still have a hard time parting with it. I wear it around the house when my better sweaters/cardigans/robes are unavailable. Like right now.

Instead of thinking about K when I wear it, I want to think about my other associations with it. Like Apollo our cat sleeping in it while I wear it. He looks like a very odd baby bump. He's been sick lately, but is getting better. I thought he was dying a week ago a cried like crazy. He's fine now.

I dunno, I'll probably get rid of it at some point. Maybe after I wash it next. It's an ugly sweatshirt and isn't very warm. It's from fucking Wal-Mart. Fuck this nostalgia shit.

Also, I have loved every version of this song that I have heard so far.
